My talent was an early gift dating back to a child. I was drawing before I could read well. I honed my skill over the years on the thousands of characters I created. Each one unique in that I cannot draw what I see nor duplicate my own work...& with the exception of my NFT collection each character is one of one so, I DON'T "BITE" son!
I use different mediums such as areosol, acrylic & charcoal, but my numero uno is the ink pen. Graphite stifles true creative growth because mistakes can be easily fixed; erased. Ink is unforgiving which enhances the artistic process whereas mistakes need to be imaginatively considered & I dig the challenge.
The lack of any fly, black cartoons out when I was young lit the spark, but as I got older Hip-Hop & "the streets" were my inspiration. They set the tone for the times & because I was into both their influence is evident in my work. All my characters resemble people I either knew, know or encountered during my years "outside".
